Built on the
site of an old monastery, Friar's Rest is a comfortable and well furnished
guest house. We are just a short 8-10 minute pleasant riverside walk from
the city center.
All rooms are en suite and well equipped with remote colour TV/ Teletext and tea/ coffee making facilities. Friars Rest has the benefit of an off road car park and on road parking permits.
All diets catered for with a vegetarian breakfast on request.
We are handy for University and Fulford Golf Club and we have easy access to A/M1 and A64 outer ring road.
The guest house has a full Fire Certificate and we are members of the York Guest House Association. We have a 3 diamond status with English Tourist Board.
