Pinfold Cottage was built circa 1865, and is situated in a select conservation area, on the south side of the City, close to York City Centre.

We are a family run B&B, and can assure you of a very warm welcome.

We have 5 ensuite bedrooms including one Family and one Ground Floor room.

All of our rooms are fully ensuite, and we offer colour TV, DVD/CD players, hairdryers, hospitality tray and radio alarm clocks. An iron and ironing board is available on request.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, and is served in our comfortable Dining Room. There is a great choice which caters for most diets, including low fat and vegetarian. We also have a children’s menu, and plenty of things to keep the kids amused!! Advance notice of any special requirements will ensure that we can fully meet your needs.

For the business traveller we offer, reduced rates for stays of 5 days or more – or for regular visitors (subject to availability). We also have easy access to the A64 and York City Centre. We are close by to great pubs and restaurants, all within a few minutes walk.

If you are enjoying a special occasion whilst staying at Pinfold Cottage, please ask about flowers, champagne, wine, or chocolates being supplied for your arrival.

We have a young family ourselves, and we ensure that children are made very welcome at Pinfold Cottage. We are equipped with high chairs, bottle warmer and travel cots. We also have a good selection of toys and games available for children to use during your stay.

We are on a main bus route into York, and the buses stop regularly, right outside our door. Or you can enjoy a pleasant riverside stroll onto the centre, 1.5 miles away. We have a private, off street car park where you can leave your car whilst you enjoy the City on foot.
